Components of the NXP

SECTION:  1

Requires that the exporter supplies: Details of collecting/ Negotiating Bank

This entails the details of your bank through which you intend to receive money for the export transaction.

SECTION:  2

Requires that the exporter supplies: Details of collecting/ Negotiating Bank

This entails the details of your bank through which you intend to receive money for the export transaction.

SECTION:  3

Requires that the exporter supplies: requires that the exporter supplies information concerning:

Description of goods: the name of the item being exported

Total quantity: Total mass of the consignment which could be in tones and kilograms.

No of items expected: this is where you are exporting more than one unit of an item.

HS Code: harmonized system code. This code is gotten from the NEPC website www.nepc.gov.ng

Unit of measurement: it could be in kilograms or tonnes

Quantity: total quantity of consignment

Net weight: weight of one unit of the item being exported

Gross weight: weight of all the items being exported.

FOB value: Free on Board value. This is the total cost of the items being exported alone.

Freight charge: This is the charges from the shipping company for transporting your items to the destination port.

Total C & F: FOB value + Freight Value. If you have different grades or sizes of the item to be exported, please fill details of each grade or size individually in this section. Please note that different grades of an item can have different HS code. See the NEPC website for more information on HS code.

SECTION:  4

Requires that the exporter supplies: Shipment date, Expected port of shipment, Code, Port of Destination

Shipment date: date the consignment is to be shipped

Expected port of shipment: name of port where the consignment is expected to be shipped from.

Code: destination country code, to be collected from the consignee.

Port of Destination: port where consignment will be received

SECTION:  5

Requires that the exporter supplies: By Order of;

This is unusually the same as section 2, unless there is more than one entity involved in the export transaction

SECTION:  6

Requires that the exporter supplies: Consignee’s Name, Address & Country Code

I.e. your buyer’s name, address & country code.

SECTION:  7

Requires that the exporter supplies: Consignee’s Name, Address & Country Code

I.e. your buyer’s name, address & country code.

SECTION:  8

Requires that the exporter supplies: Bank Code / Branch Code / Serial No

This requires your name and address; the registration number on your C.A.C certificate and your NEPC registration number
